  1. Hi dear, I came across your blog while searching on Dr Adilah. I will be having Laparoscopic Surgery procedure with Dr Adilah and was wondering how was your recovery and scar like after the surgery? I am rather nervous, not sure whether I need to lie on bed whole day, not sure how much and how long the bleeding is etc. If you can share more of your experience with me, I'd be more than grateful. If you rather e-mail me than to write here, please reply to this post with your e-mail address, then I'd drop you a mail. Thank you very much! Have a good day!

    1. Hello. Wow another patient of Dr. Adilah. Isn't she awesome? Anyway, about the surgery, it's pretty non-invasive so the recovery time is pretty quick. There will be small scars on your tummy (no bigger than your BCG scar). You will probably have to stay at the hospital at least one night after the surgery for the nurse to monitor your meds and painkiller. Bleeding-wise, it will probably take about a week for the bleeding to stop completely. Dr Adilah gave me 2 weeks MC after the surgery, but a few days after the surgery I was already able to walk around. You will feel very minimal pain. Don't worry too much about the surgery. You're in good hands. Good luck! If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me at zamhota@gmail.com :)

  2. Thanks a lot for the prompt reply and the assurance, it does make me feel more relieved! I'd be admitted for 2 nights as suggested by doc, hope no surprises when she's doing the procedure. Have a great day and thanks once again!
